Delicate in appearance yet bold in flavor, Japanese Edible Kogiku is beloved in Japanese cuisine. With its distinct floral aroma and slightly bitter, peppery taste, chrysanthemum adds depth and freshness to a variety of dishes.
Beyond its taste, Kogiku is rich in antioxidants, vitamins A and C, and is known for its detoxifying and digestion-aiding properties. The flowers can be brewed into a tea, incorporated into a drink, or the pedals can be plucked off and added to a sauce to be enjoyed.
